Takashi Mukoda is a multimedia artist based in Japan.
Depending on what kind of problem he explores, he combines different kinds of media in order to produce
his works. His works range from graphic design, video art, interactive programming art to net art.
He often produces works that challenge social norms, human biology, and several kinds of discrimination.
By handling these topics in his works, he intends to give viewers/participants to confront things that
usually overlook and avoid discussing.
Currently, he is curious about the relationship between language and human body. He believes that every
word, and sentence written and spoken by a person reflect their entire life since they were born.
Therefore, observing these
linguistic products is the same as exploring the personality of their producers (=speakers and writers).
Takashi Mukoda was born in Japan in 1996 and grown up there until he was 18 years old. After he graduated from high school, he was enrolled in New Media Art and Math/Computer Science programs at State University of New York at Purchase (SUNY Purchase). He received a BA degree from the college in 2019.
